Do we know when to stop in terms of layering? Apparently this tendency to merge different layers of clothing, has not only influenced the shape of oversized coats, as well as what it lays beneath them. For me, there is a certain visual quality when we match a knit skirt and sweater with an oversized coat. This sense of comfortable cocoon continues to be noted this year in winter collections such as Burberry Prorsum, Céline and Stella McCartney to name a few. But as not all people can transfer this aesthetic to your own body or lifestyle, here's a tip: if you focus on one oversize piece (top or bottoms), try to coordinate the other pieces in a more longilineal way.
